Family Retreat
1:30 to 4:30 pm in the Parish Center FOR FAMILIES OF GRADE SCHOOL AGED CHILDREN |
Through storytelling, poetry, and humor, Dr. Terry Nelson-Johnson challenges us to enter more deeply into the mystery of grace, the mystery of spirit, the mystery of God. He works with with parents, teachers, and faith communities across the country to design programs that encourage, affirm, and inspire.
Dr. Terry Nelson-Johnson is Dean of Faith Formation at Old St. Patrick’s Church, holds a master’s degree from the Institute of Pastoral Studies, Loyola University; and a Doctorate of Ministry from the University of St. Mary of the Lake. He and his wife Holly are the parents of two children, Ian and Clare.
Dr. Terry Nelson-Johnson has been enthusiastically received at St. John of the Cross in previous events. He is relaxed, humorous, and grounded in his own faith life and experiences.
